The Alfred P. Cannon collection contains two photos taken by Cannon of the Beal Pinetum and the Michigan State University forestry cabin. Cannon was a forestry student at the Ohio State University and took the photos during a visit to Michigan State.

Added to the back of the diary are the minutes (1902-1910) of board meetings of the Perry Percheron Horse Company, a stud service operating in Perry, Shiawassee County, Michigan, recorded by the acting secretary, J. H. Towner.
